My brain hurts over my television choices this evening...do I watch Girls Just Want to Have Fun or Sixteen Candles??? Was Jake Ryan ever so dreamy or what? No one does a suburban Chicago , 80s, teen movie like John Hughes! I think I just might have to flip back & forth...and to keep Kevin happy, I notice Caddyshack is on too! Wow, this is a good night!

I have to vote for Sixteen Candles-it was on cable the other night and I had to stop and watch the whole thing. :)

Oh, yes, I adore a lot of John Hughes' films. I always had a crush on Andrew McCarthy, and I was watching bits of 'Ferris Bueller' the other day. I find Cameron's story in that a lot more tragic now that I watch it with 'older eyes'. Is it true they're remaking Ferris Bueller with Ashton Kutcher??? NOOOO!
